"And so with the sunshine and the great burst of leaves
growing on the trees, just as things grow fast in movies,
I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over
again with the Summer." F. Scott Fitzgerald
The flowers of summer are bold, blousy and loud heralding the start of warmer weather, balmy breezes and endless, long, blue sky days. Using a variety of luscious Summer flowers and foliages along with some foraged finds you will create a beautiful wild bunch arranged into a glass vase using a mix of traditional and modern techniques so you will be able to repeat the process again and again at home.
You will leave with a floral masterpiece, new skills and a sense of achievement!
I will supply all floral matter & materials including a glass vase but please feel free to bring flora & foliage from your own garden and surrounds (if available) that you will have easy access to throughout Summer so you can learn how to use them throughout the season.
A small grazing platter will be supplied along with herbal tea & local 'Take a Gander' Rose'
The workshop will be held at the 'Nova Hotel' Kiama (next to The Grand) at 31 Bong Bong Street - please register your arrival at the shop.
