Saturday 5 September 12.30 - 2.00pm
"The fields are rich with daffodils,
a coat of clover coats the hills,
and I must dance, and I must sing
to see the beauty of the Spring."
Fresh, fragrant and fragile are the blooms of Spring hinting at warmer days to come. Using a variety of Spring flowers including tulips, jonquils, blossom (plus more) and delicate foliage along with some foraged finds you will create a beautiful wild garden bunch arranged into a ceramic vase using a mix of traditional and modern techniques so you will be able to repeat the process again and again at home.
You will leave with a floral masterpiece, new skills and a sense of achievement!
I will supply all floral matter & materials including a ceramic vase but please feel free to bring flora & foliage from your own garden and surrounds (if available) that you will have easy access to throughout Spring so you can learn how to use them throughout the season.
A small grazing platter will be supplied along with herbal tea & local 'Take a Gander' Rose'
The workshop will be held at the 'Nova Hotel' Kiama (next to The Grand) at 31 Bong Bong Street - please register your arrival at the shop.
