Rainy Day Wedding at Ravensthorpe

The weather leading up to this rainy day wedding at Ravensthorpe on the South Coast was absolutely beautiful. The heavens opened but it didn't dampen the spirits of Rhiannon & 'Greeny' on their big day.

Rhiannon popped into the shop late one Saturday afternoon a couple of months before the wedding and although I had a large wedding already booked the same day I just couldn't say no to Rhiannon, she is just the most gorgeous outgoing and bubbly person along with her beautiful Mum and I knew I'd love creating florals for this wedding. I started with a Mood Board to capture the theme, colour and feel of this wedding (first image below).

Rhiannon's request was for large wild unstructured bunches in white and green - and that's what I created! The list included the bridal party - bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and arrangements for the bridal table, guest tables, cake, ceremony chairs, entry sign and gift table.

A very excited Rhiannon and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the venue so got to see the florals transform the marquee at Ravensthorpe and the result was just lovely. Here are a few pics of the big day by the talented Anna Blackman of Anna Blackman Photography.
