I love a quickie - a quick furniture makeover that is. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is perfect for a quick fix for tired old furniture pieces. With 35 colours in the range it's quite hard to pick a favourite but I keep returning to Graphite, Pure White, French Linen & Coco. I kind of like that 'French Coastal' look with a whole lot of rustic thrown in to bring it back down to earth. That kind of look that echoes beach walks, salvage finds, flotsam and holidays. Relaxed, unpretentious and interesting - that's my kind of style. Oh, and throw a few flowers in just to soften it a little.
