Are you an experienced floral creative? I am looking for a casual floral/retail assistant who can make up beautiful bouquets and posies for the shop and for orders and help customers choose gifts/hampers from the in-store selection available.

​

You must have previous florist retail experience and a minimum Cert 2 in Floristry.

​

Duties include:  preparation of flower stock, sweeping/vacuuming/washing floors, restocking shelves, setting up the shop in the morning & packing up in the afternoon, dusting & cleaning shelves, changing water, scrubbing vases, taking orders and the occasional delivery, flower & gift sales, helping with weddings and events, balancing the til at the end of the day etc.

​

I need to you be punctual, work to a deadline, show initiative, be a problem solver and be able to work unsupervised.  Other qualities you will need to possess are to:

have great customer service skills

be able to follow instructions

love cleaning & dusting

be neat, tidy & organised

have a current drivers licence

have a cheerful disposition

be a forward thinker

know how to prioritise

work like you own the business!!!

perform well under pressure

follow routines & procedures
